i got this from the friendster bulletin board... i thought it would be interesting to answer it!

1. looks or charms?
definitely charms...
2. love that never was or love that could've been?
ouch... in my case, it has always been "could've been" and it sucks! 3x is enough, another one & id go crazy!
3. end up with a person who has everything you want and looking for, or end up with someone you totally connect with?
someone i totally connect with... coz sometimes, we think we want something/someone, and when we finally have him/her/it, we realize we want someone/something else... so i don't want to make that mistake and regret it.
4. be with a person you have lots in common with,or someone with a different personality from you?
somewhere in between... i don't want us to be totally similar coz it could get boring, but i don't want us to constantly fight coz we couldn't agree on anything
5. an inner bad boy/girl or an inner good boy/girl?
inner good!
6. smart or funny?
smart- but not nerdy smart... i want someone i could talk to... and someone who can make me laugh
7. a person more adventurous or a person more laid-back?
both please... someone willing to try new things.. food trip! road trip...but of course, there are days when i just want to do nothing...
8. think first before falling in love; or fall in love first, think later?
im more of a heart-over-mind person... but i realized that i think too much... that's why it always ends up as a could've been thing
9. give up everything for love or give up love to live your dreams?
right now, id have to say give up love to live my dreams.. but i guess that's coz im not in love... but ideally, my loved one would share my dreams so... in this not so ideal world, i have no idea
10. when you found someone you love, would you get into a relationship with that person knowing for sure it wouldn't last, or just be friends with them so that s/he will always be there?
get into a relationship... how can u be just friends with someone you are in love with? there's something so fake about it-- you're holding something back and i wouldn't want to offer a friendship that isn't genuine. plus, im sure that if you really love each other, things do fall into place... but i don't know, that happens in my ideal world...
11. when it comes to love, do you surrender to fate or break away from fate?
surrender to fate... i believe that we should let things be... i don't know, but i've always believed that when ur a couple, you shouldn't be working too hard on your relationship. yea, u have to exert some effort to make each other happy. and of course, there will always be problems to test you... but when ur always fighting and u keep on having problems and it seems like there's no end to it, then i believe it's time to let go... BUT this only goes for unmarried couples... coz i believe that once you get married, there's no giving up anymore... haha, hard to be in my ideal world!
12. meet "the one" at first love or have other relationships before finally meeting "the one"?
have other relationships before meeting the one... but not too much... 1 "trial" relationship is ok... haha!
13. would you fall for someone you can't have, or forget about it and distance yourself from her/him?
forget about it and distance myself from him... although that doesn't really work... well, it does, after a little over 4 years!
14. do you believe true love lasts forever or true love is whatever length of time you get to spend together?
true love lasts forever... im a relationship-idealist, remember?
15. find love or wait for love?
wait for love... coz im still young and having the time of my life.. but when im 27 and still single, im going on an all-out search for him!
16. would you settle for someone or continue to wait for someone that might never come?
continue to wait for someone... i don't settle for anything or anyone... if i can't have what/who i want, then i won't have any
17. seek approval of important people in your life before you marry someone, or it's your decision and your decision alone if you're going to marry her/him?
seek approval... coz when it comes to marriage, the honeymoon stage can only last for so long... when things are starting to get shitty, we'd need the support of people who matter to us. but im going to make sure that these important people in our lives would approve of us, or else...
18.making a commitment, easy or hard?
if im ready, then it's easy for me.
