galera tales

after confirming with kats that our kgc barkada trip was postponed, i immediately texted zarah that ill be going to galera with them. so without much time to go shopping and plan what to bring, i went to galera!

i was supposed to wax my legs (thanks to my father for handing me down genes that made me so hairy!) then pack the entire friday afternoon so i could sleep around 9pm since we were meeting up at 2.30 am saturday to go to galera. but aira came over and we hang out so everything got pushed to the evening.

i finished waxing and packing around 12.15 am, so i told myself ill just take a power nap, wake up 1.30 and take a bath. but my brother and father dear were watching emergency on tv, and they had this feature on henna. my brother went to galera 2 weeks ago, got a henna on his back, and developed an allergy. so they both forbid me to get a henna.

so anyway, without sleep, i went to za's house to pick some of them up. so okay, we agreed to leave at 2.30. i was 10 minutes late since i could not wake the driver up. when i got there, most of them were just waking up. so i had to wait a few minutes for them to finish their rituals. then we had to pass by my house to get kelay's digicam and my shawl (since i did not feel like bringing a sweater.)

so around 3.45, we again met up with the rest of them at wendy's in buendia. we took a bus to batangas pier, took a 6am boat to galera and got there around 7am! we got a good morning greeting as we were nearing galera... 2 dolphins were doing a show! fabulous!

so as soon as we got there, we said hello to zarah's family, we dropped our stuff in our room, changed, then headed to the beach...

ohmigod... BEACH! i just love the sand, the sun, the water... (i just didn't like the fact that it's so crowded... gawsh, in bohol, we had the entire beach to ourselves... uuhmm, not really, but it felt that way! well, what the hell, live and let live, ryt?)

the beach was not exactly great (i mean, compared to bohol...), but a beach is still a beach! so we chose a spot, spread our sarongs and beach towel, and had the time of our lives! oh, happiness!

then before lunch, we decided to do the banana boat... it was so FUN! all of us went, except for jew, who rode in the speedboat (si lola talaga, o!) well, at least we had someone to take our pix! we fell 5 times (jacob fell 6 times... nandaya e!)

we had lunch, sinigang na blue marlin... yum!! (thanks to za's mom and dad, who were celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary that day... which zarah forgot!) after lunch, we went to this resort, and spent the afternoon in the pool. we saw juls (my I AM groupmate!) he was there for their company outing.

after a few hours, we decided to go back to the beach and go shopping. i bought some stuff while enjoying indian mangos... this is the life!

around 4, we decided to go to the cave, but i was so tired, i didn't feel like crawling a cramped space. only 4 of them went in, while the rest of us just sat on the sand.

when k3n, golps, nes & gix got back from the cave, we went into the water. it was fun playing and "surfing"! we were also teaching jew how to skip stones... (i can only do 3 bounces... i have to practice more!)

around 5, we got our massage. so imagine, i got out of the water, spread myself down on the sand and got my massage... how good can life get?! after our massage, we waited 15 mins before going into the water again. after a few minutes, since it was getting dark, we went back to our room, took a bath and got ready for dinner.

late dinner, then we shared a pitcher of mindoro sling (which i didnt like very much since it had sprite!) then we headed for our room, got our sarongs and towel, then flopped down on the sand... gawsh... i fell asleep for around 30 mins... there were no stars when we first got ther since it was very cloudy. but when i woke up, there were a lot of stars... so beautiful! again, can i just say, life is so beautiful! it was getting a little cold, so i used a beach towel as my blanket...

a little after midnight,, we went back to our room and called it a nyt... what a wonderful day... say it with me... FABULOUS!

this morning, we woke up around 7, and of course, headed to the beach. i didn't go into the water anymore, so i spent the morning lying down on my beach towel, and people watching (kainis, bitin ung tan! malilim kase yesterday afternoon, so bitin tlaga! i more day at the beach... i need just one more day!)

around 9, i took a bath, fixed our stuff.. had brunch, then took the 12 nn boat back to batangas pier. we took a van back to manila, we had a road maniac for a driver... then got off at shang. the other girls wanted to at nachofast, so we went there. i was getting ready to go (i walked home! walang pagod!) when i saw...

PIOLO!!! he was going up the escalator!

ohmigawsh... dang! hotness! say it with me... WHOA!!! thank you God!

so there... that was my weekend adventure... i was supposed to sleep when i got home, but i watched some dvds instead...

and tomorrow, well, back to reality... i have to go to school and enroll... God, please let it be an easy enrollment... wag po sanang bad trip. i hope i get the subjects i need, and i hope i get a really nice sked!

i havent posted pix since we moved... im using dial up, and i have no patience to wait for the files to upload. ill upload as soon as we get DSL...
